    Subject: SPRAYBOOTH
Hi All, I have attached photo's of the spraybooth I set up in the hangar made of 2x4's and 6 mil plastic sheeting. The extractor is made from an old fan and the filter material is 2 inch thick batting that I found at a local fabric store, it stopped everything and lasted a long time and was cheap. I used Stewart systems water based paint. Generally it worked well but was expensive and as somebody said it is very temperamental. I used a water based paint as I started in a friend's basement and did not want to risk anything that is flammable. I recently helped a friend who is using non waterbased auto finish and it is much easier to get a good finish. Even after color sanding in certain areas I cannot get a deep shine. Keep well Mike

I have attached a photo of my landing gear bolt attachment reinforcement. It is an aluminum washer that is cut at the same angle as the support pad for the landing gear so that the bolts will 90 degrees. I drilled holes ihe bottom of the washer Mike
