Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I am the new owner of the KIS Cruiser,
N302KM (otherwise known as "the one with the eagle head and flag"), built
by Mr. Kent Pyle in Clinton, MO. The beautiful plane has a new home in St.
Louis, MO at Sprit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS). She's been sitting for 3
years, so I'm giving her a little love and a couple of new parts, so I
might be asking some advice along the way, but I've got a great EAA Chapter
here and an even better A&P helping me.
I am a retiring from a 20-year career in the US Navy as an F/A-18 Super
Hornet test pilot. I have 20+ years of flight experience, a couple pieces
of paper that say I'm an aero engineer, and this is the 4th experimental
airplane I've owned (although the biggest by almost 3x), so I might be
offer the occasional opinion (or maybe fact...), if asked.
Hope to chat with everyone on the list.

Subject: | Sold my airplane |
Yes, I sold my TR-1 which I regret having to do but I was about to
loose my medical. I loved building it and the challenge I flying it.
I am the only one that ever flew it and it behaved like such an
airplane should. Tim Morris bought it and am anxious to hear how it
flies for him. I never had any anxious moments in it, even during the
1st flight. I'm going to write a book about my flying experiences and
hope to have it out in a year or so. If anyone would like to have
some of their tales included I would certainly consider doing so.
Contact me about that.
My experiences began as a 7th grader when I built a model trip-pacer,
won 1st place with it and got my first ride in a Stenson Skyway over
old Stapleton and Denver area. I built U control plane and flew them
though high school. Some of what went on between then and now is not
to be repeated by anyone but I'm in one piece and have never gotten a
scratch.
Well, my flying days are over but never forgotten. My experiences, I
would do all over again, even the hairy ones but those would never
present themselves again the same way.
Thumbs up and keep 'em flying,
Jesse Wright
