Subject: KIS-List: Hello All
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I am the new owner of the KIS Cruiser,
N302KM (otherwise known as "the one with the eagle head and flag"), built b
y Mr. Kent Pyle in Clinton, MO. The beautiful plane has a new home in St.
Louis, MO at Sprit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS). She's been sitting for 3 y
ears, so I'm giving her a little love and a couple of new parts, so I might
be asking some advice along the way, but I've got a great EAA Chapter here
and an even better A&P helping me.
I am a retiring from a 20-year career in the US Navy as an F/A-18 Super Hor
net test pilot. I have 20+ years of flight experience, a couple pieces of
paper that say I'm an aero engineer, and this is the 4th experimental airpl
ane I've owned (although the biggest by almost 3x), so I might be offer the
occasional opinion (or maybe fact...), if asked.

I'm making some pretty major mods to the plane:
1) Converting the engine to fuel injected
2) Constant speed prop
3) All glass-cockpit (Dynon system)
I'll keep posting on the Facebook page so you can see the progress.
