Steve, Sorry to not reply sooner but I was baking at the hangar all last week and forgot to back check my emails. Can you describe for us the exact steps you used for your first attempt to fix this issue.=C2- What I am suspecting is that the epoxy you used for y our first repair sank down to the lowest points in the wing before it setup which would have left the voids in the same spaces.=C2- Even a micro-mix will settle if it is too thin (which I have had happen several times).=C2 - What I would suggest is to obtain several empty caulking gun tubes.=C2- M ake a very thick micro-epoxy mix that is thick enough that it can only be i njected using the caulking gun.=C2- Have several small holes spaced aroun d the void area for injection.=C2- Inject into the voids until some mix i s pushed out of other holes and continue until you are confident all voids have been filled.=C2- Keep the openings open until you are sure it has cu red and doesn't need to expand.=C2- This thick mixture should cure well b efore it can settle.=C2- Clean up and fill any holes, sand, cover or pain t. Hi Guys, I experienced some delimitation in the area where you would normally step u p to enter the plane on the pilot side. I drilled small wholes and injected epoxy in those areas. I have been checking and after about a month I have soft areas again. I can press on them and here the foam underneath. I've at tached a couple of pics of the affected area where I masked off with tape. Any suggestions???
