Hello Stephen, The builders manual for the KIS TR-1 calls for the fuselage
main spar box hat shaped bushings (KS-19) to be solidly bonded into place in
the spar box with flox/micro slurry.
Similarly, the wing main spar tubular bushings (KS-18) are to be solidly
bonded into place in the wing forward (main) spar with flox/micro slurry.
See pages ASSY-2 and ASSY-3 of the builders manual.
If these bushings are turning when you turn the the AN8-46 bolts that hold
the forward wing spar into the fuselage spar box then your wing is not
securely fastened to the fuselage.

Subject: Main spar bolt?
Hi Mark & O C
I reinstalled the wing today and after torquing the two front mains spar
bolts. I lifted the wing out at the end on the right side a little and heard
a clicking. After examining the right side main spar bolt. I noticed the
whole bolt turns in the spar Is this normal or do I have a major
problem???
To our success, Stephen McIntosh
