    I never found anywhere in the instructions on how much to torque the nuts to for the main spar bolts. If it was all built correctly, the idea was that the hat shaped washers (which are bonded into the spar box ) would be a perfect fit against the spacers running through (and bonded) the wing spars. The bolts are essentially just holding it all in place and loaded in shear ) . They have a nylock insert on the nuts anyway to stop them from sliding out . In my installation I have a washer at the both the bolt head and the nut sides to complete the installation, resulting in 1.5 threads showing on the threads when it is assembled. So far in 16 years they have remained tight, and i have no movement when the wings are lifted at the outboard ends I would as Ed suggests, investigate if the nut is bottoming out , How many threads are showing ?     I believe I need to add a few more washers. I have 4 threads showing. Must be bottoming out.
