We got to see a show in Las Vegas, fly over the Gran Canyon, attend the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta while visiting friends and family along the way. The weather wasn't perfect the entire time. We had to divert almost 75 miles to avoid thunderstorms on a flight between Alabama and Texas. We actually had to stay a few days extra in El Paso, TX while a hurricane, Hurricane Rosa, passed over Arizona. We had to leave Albuquerque, NM a day early since a severe cold front was headed there. But overall, it was a great trip.
