Subject: Re: New (to me) LED Landing Lights
I went flying today and did my 1st night landing with the new lights. It is a BIG difference in illumination. I could see the runway markings from about 500ft and illumination while taxiing was significantly better. I attached two photos of the lights in use. One are the lights illuminating the hangar across the way from mine while the other is as I taxied back from landing. Subject: AeroLED SunLite 800's For Sale
So now I have my old set of AeroLed's SunLite 800's available for sale. In addition to being a great LED landing light they also have a built in wig-wag synchronization capability. The best part is they are only 2.27" High, 2.27" Wide and 1.31" deep so they easily fit inside the leading edge of the KIS-4 wing. Together they put out the same amount of light the currently produced AeroSun 1600 landing light does. I am asking $250 for both and I will pay shipping anywhere in the USA so if anybody wants them, e-mail me. If not I will put them up for sale at Vans AF and E-Bay. I have attached photos of the actual units, a photo of them inside the KIS-4 wing and a link to ACS so you can see the current price ($325.00) for the equivalent unit. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/aerosun.php
