It is a BIG difference in illumination. I could see the runway markings from about 500ft and illumination while taxiing was significantly better. I attached two photos of the lights in use. One are the lights illuminating the hangar across the way from mine while the other is as I taxied back from landing. On Sun, Jan 6, 2019 at 8:37 AM Galin Hernandez wrote: > I got the spot units. In addition to being a great LED landing light they also have a built in wig-wag synchronization capability. The best part is they are only 2.27" High, 2.27" Wide and 1.31" deep so they easily fit inside the leading edge of the KIS-4 wing. Together they put out the same amount of light the currently produced AeroSun 1600 landing light does. I am asking $250 for both and I will pay shipping anywhere in the USA so if anybody wants them, e-mail me. If not I will put them up for sale at Vans AF and E-Bay. I have attached photos of the actual units, a photo of them inside the KIS-4 wing and a link to ACS so you can see the current price ($325.00) for the equivalent unit. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/aerosun.php ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message kis-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/KIS-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/kis-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/kis-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
