Subject: | Seno KIS TR1 N66SK Crashed! |
This showed up in a search. The airplane was for sale for a long time and was bought
last spring. It is (was) registered in Colorado. The crash happened in San
Marcos, TX. It appears to be a landing gone real bad.
Wentworth Aircraft most likely ended up the the airplane and either parted it out
or sold it in tack.
If the new owner should stop by contact me I'll tell you how to fix it!

I was talking to an avionics guy who has his shop directly across from my hangar
and he mentioned that he had seen another KISS Cruiser at another airport in
the Dallas area but could not remember the name of the owner.
Does anyone know of another KISS CRUISER in the Dallas area or might be said owner?
(Besides myself) If so would you please contact me.

Not yet. Discovered a issue with the Control Vision electrical control pane
l during taxi testing. Couldn=99t find the problem so I yanked it out a
nd replaced with fuse panels and a couple of relays. Did another taxi test y
esterday and discovered that both alternators were not working. I reviewed m
y wiring diagram and discovered that I had failed to connect the power leads
for the AltFld to both the master and aux battery switches.
Added temporary connections yesterday afternoon and performed run up and the
y were both putting out. Going out Sunday to make the connections permanent t
o unswitched source. My test pilot is taking it one step at a time and seem
s to be happy with everything handling wise. He was pleased that the rudder c
ontrol was effective at about 20 mph and elevator was lifting nose wheel at 5
0-55 mph. Was about to test ailerons when the battery shut down. We will co
ntinue flight tests as soon as we can get our schedules together. He is a co
mmercial pilot and has an odd schedule that changes every month. My schedule
is equally screwed up by work, try to get a house built and some family hea
lth issues. Nothing seems to come easy these days.
