    Hi Robert, Yes this is the plane that my Dad Ed Nichols built and flew to Sun N Fun many times. Unfortunately he succumbed to Cancer but he had put up a valiant fight and even water skied just 3 weeks prior to his passing. This KIS TR-4 and the rest of the group was a big passion of his and he loved flying it and giving rides and talking about its construction and how he made it more efficient. It's a hard thing to sell, but unfortunately I dont fly and do not see any time to in the foreseeable future.     The limit pin on the nose gear is gone and the nose wheel is turned around f rom being pushed backwards.     4 minutes ago Details That can not be good on for nose gear assembly. IMHO the forces pushing down on the rod in this configuration (much longer fulcrum) will exceed their limits and the rod will eventually break with the nose gear collapsing. There is a reason those pins exist specifically to prevent this from happening. Just my 2cents.
