    Subject: Options for tall pilots?
Hello, I was looking at a used TR-1 and just fit in it when sitting on the seat without any cushions, as long as I don't try to tip my head to the left. Not feasible for flying, but close enough to ask if there have been any approved/demonstrated modifications to provide more headroom on an already built and flying TR-1. Two thoughts were to lower the seat by adding another shorter main gear box stiffening rib in front of the main gear box and shortening the existing stiffening rib that is at the aft side of the gear by an inch to lower the seat by an inch. Second consideration was to recline the seat back a little more (seems more involved). Not expecting to see these as having been done, and not wanting to be the first, but checking all available resources before moving beyond the TR-1. Thanks, John
