      Michel,
Don't know about the evaporation problem but I would check very closely
the fabric tapes on top. With that dark color, they "CAN" shrink on a hot day.

Remember, mine did (Medium dark Gray). I still haven't fixed the problem
but need to get on it soon. If you look up through the bottom of the wing
through an inspection cover or pull the wing tip, you can see a fine line of light

along each side of the ribs. If you see the light then UV's can get to that
fine line and cause the fabric to deteriorate.

Clem, look at page 334 of the Spruce catalog and you will see s stall
warning kit by ACI. I have been using it on my model 4 for four years now
and really like it. Simple and very effective. TEX

Indicator described a few years ago in the Airsoob Yahoo group. I was
wondering about how many in the Kitfox group used such a device and how they
felt about them. I'm having some trouble with the static side of my
airspeed indicator, and recent landings have been pretty much by the seat of
my pants. Proponents of the AOA gauges obviously think they are superior in
all respects to the airspeed gauge, particularly at the slower approach and
landing speeds. I was interested to see if there are any unbiased opinions
out there. Thanks for your response.

Clem, I have Elbie's Rite Angle system in my Series 5 and it is a great tool
and safety feature. Also you can not beat the tech support and service that
Elbie provides. His motto about his customer service is not just a sales
      pitch, its true. Bruce Lina

      Appreciate the Endorsements
Thanks for all the kind words men, it is appreciated! As most of you know I
consider my customers friends not only as customers. Those that don't
understand the difference between a stall warning and an AOA contact me off list,
      as
different as apples and prunes :-)

I too have the RiteAngle III AOA system for my Kitfox 6. Though I
haven't yet flown (still building :-) ), the RiteAngle III system and
it's various components are very well made. Documentation also is
amongst the best I've seen. I've talked with Elbie a number of times
and have always been impressed. You can't go wrong with the systems &
service from Elbie. I would recommend him and his products to anyone.

In fact, I've been putting off installing the standard SkyStar trim
indicator because I'm waiting for Elbie to finish up his trim indicator
system. As soon as he's got it done, I'm buying one of those too. He
      makes good stuff!
