The weather was wonderful, CAVOK and no wind. I flew with my son and Kenneth, my hangar neighbour, with his Rans S6. Kenneth is very good at flying close formation. Here are some pictures: http://home.online.no/~michel/tmp/ And those taken by Kenneth: http://nvmk.mikrofly.com/pirep/ENFY/ This is where I can see for the first time my plane with the new cowling, in the air. Happy Easter, Michel do not archive

--> Kitfox-List message posted by: "Sterling" <sterling@pgrb.com> Last day to get a good deal on an Ordorf RV video on Ebay. Although the first two are specific to Van's Aircraft, the sheet metal tips are good for anyone building an airplane. Item numbers 4537729428 and 4537703612. I also have item number 4537719007 which is a video I produced for Mosler Aircraft Engines in 1991 on how to install the Mosler 82 X engine in an Avid.

--> Kitfox-List message posted by: Hank Seidel <hank@hankseidel.com> Hi Randy, I would think the digital (with no moving parts) and a backup battery would be more reliable. I have had non-digital airspeed indicators fail in flight. Not a big problem. --> Kitfox-List message posted by: "Lowell Fitt" <lcfitt@sbcglobal.net> This might be a bit early, but on the 11th of June - the second Saturday - we will be hosting our 7th edition of the Cameron Park Kitfox fly-in. As usual it will be a low key affair with lots of airplanes, good company and of course food. Check http://www.cameronparkkitfox.com for more details. Wish you could all come. Lowell

    Subject: Attitude indicators
--> Kitfox-List message posted by: Steve Zakreski <szakreski@shaw.ca> I should pass on this note I received privately: >>>> Steve I have a Dynon 10A in my model 4, I also have a couple of friends that have them in RVs. They are excellent instruments, with about ten instruments in one 3.25 inch standard round unit apox. 6 or so inches deep. You can go on line to check them out further. The unit that Anywhere Map sells is no good, I first bought one of these and was greatly disappointed, I don't think they even sell it anymore. It never worked right and the company offered no fix or help, that was a couple of thou down the drain. The Dynon company is a good company and will help if you should have any problems. I purchased the remote compass sending unit and the battery backup options. The battery is good for aprox 2 hours. You will love the D10A. >>>> SteveZ Calgary -----Original Message----- From: owner-kitfox-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-kitfox-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Fox5flyer Subject: Re: Kitfox-List: Attitude indicators --> Kitfox-List message posted by: "Fox5flyer" <morid@northland.lib.mi.us> Thanks Joel, I'm looking forward to feedback from you folks out there who have considerable instrument time who can give a good objective report on your experience with both types, mechanical and electronic.
