The FAA has an Advisory Circular that comes in book form for building your own
strip. It is an excellent resource. I have it somewhere but have had a difficult
time finding it. Jeff Classic IV

Well done Michel. I really enjoyed reading about your trip. My best flying
fun has always been
on long cross country flights. Look out for the Vienna Fox coming north one
of these years.
First flight is now scheduled for September. Kerry.

Hi there
Has anyone shipped a fully built Kitfox II in a container on this list?
From my calculations, it will be a tight fit as with the wings folded
back, it is just about the same width as the inside of the container. Will
be using a 40 ft container as a trailer will be accompanying the aircraft,
and once again the length of a Fox is just too long to fit in a 20ft.
Any input will be appreciated.
Regards
Roger

Most AC's or forms can be seen and printed at faa.gov you might see if it is
there. Ron

Roger, Not a Kitfox, but I helped pack a rather large home built biplane
for shipment it Africa. I know if flew once there so I would say it is
doable.

Roger:
Where are you goin? It might be cheaper to fly it
than haul it . It would be safer too.
Just a thought.

Go to www.landings.com at the top go to the data base section, then go to
the airport section, click on information, then click on airports by
identifier. Scroll down to locations type OK for the state. This will pull
up all of the airports in Oklahoma, find one that is privately owned and
call the owner to see what they had to do.
