Jeremy it was outstanding and the music was perfect fit. The loop was awesome. If you make any more just post the link for us. Deke > > Jeremy, > > Great video and audio, I really enjoyed it. The paperwork side was relatively painless. Raking a shoveling stones - well that's another story. Generally for private airports, the feds are interested only in the air space and safe approaches, and your state will probably be more interested in the overall design features and ground location. I suggest you start with the division or aeronautics in the department of transportation for your state. PA was very helpful, and provided an information packet with the necessary forms/or pointing to the FAA website for forms and advisories. I removed the wings and hung then on the side walls with carpet strips to the spars. Use much foam for padding between the wing and wall. Then strap the tires to the floor. The tail need a bunch of foam between the tire and the floor for shock cushioning. Its more work but removing the flaperons from the wing would be even saver. But, I would think plenty of foam would be just fine and just leave them on. I also removed the horizontal and lashed it to the floor. Done this way any part of the the plane wont be able to touch the container. Good luck, Paul PS, You don't need a 40' for a Kitfox. I think I remember that 24' are available? The plan was on its trailer and the whole lot was wheeled into the container. I ended up removing the wings and had them strapped to the floor of the trailer. I also removed the horizontal stab, though could have made it in without doing that. It was easy to take apart and put back together and I didn't want to take any chances that it would get banged around in loading and unloading. Jeremy it was outstanding and the music was perfect fit. I also downloaded the video and ... when I play it, I get the sound but no picture. :-( Damned it! I hate computers! Nothing seems to work anymore. It's getting so complex, so many different type of files, nothing is standard ... I give up. ... luckily I have a Kitfox to enjoy life! :-) Cheers, Michel do not archive ________________________________ Message 7 _____________________________________ Time: 05:37:57 PM PST US From: DC91840@aol.com Subject: Re: Kitfox-List: Building A grass Strip --> Kitfox-List message posted by: DC91840@aol.com Jeff: This is a little off subject but where in Pa. are you?
