The trailer says the music was writtten by a Nathan Wang, Lynn. But no mention
of the name of the piece.
One thing is for sure, I know which DVD Santa will have for me under the Christmas
tree, next winter! :-)

Sorry I am late on this. I used Van's NACA vents mounted in the lower cowl. They
come with plastic eyeball and lots of duct. I did not use the duct. I bought
some radiator hose and slip mounted the eyeballs directly onto the outlet
of the NACA. They look pretty good and work great.

What are you guys using for fresh air venting in your kitfoxes? I have a pair of
the Vista vents to install but I have the LP Aeroplastics bubble doors and there
is not an area flat enough to mount them. I have thought of putting them
in the skylight but then you have the rain issues. I am in Utah and it can get
pretty hot down here especially when sitting in that greenhouse I call 323MM.
I don't really like flying with my doors off and I have tried using bungees to
hold the door open a couple of inches. Does anyone have a better idea or a differnt
vent I can use? I would love to install some adjustable vents in the panel
like in certified airplanes but would hate to undertake this project if there
was a better option. Any advice or photos of your installation would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Darin Hawkes

Andrew, as I recall water wetter was first used by fire departments as it
reduces friction as water moves down a passage and they were able to get the
same water flow from smaller hoses.
In my sailing days, I thought of having a small tube system on the bow of a
boat that would leak a small amount into the water possibly reducing the
friction and increasing speed.
Anyway if you try it keep us posted on the results.

Yup, me too, Michel. I wrote to Brian Terwilliger, the producer, to try
and find out....it bears a resemblance to some of the music from Twin
Peaks, the David Lynch tv series from about 10-15 years ago.

My daughter has that song on a CD. She's not home now, but I will get the information
to you guys. I remember it well because she is a sign language interpreter
major and she signed this song in one of her classes. I've heard it several
hundred times.

Michel,
Actually racing and the mod would have been against race rules, of course.
Just something to think about. I alo wondered if it could have been added
to antifouling paint. The kind that wears away keeping the barnicles form
getting a toe hold.
We did two races from the Los Angeles area to Puerto Vallarta, MX and two
from the San francisco area to Hawaii, actually Kauai. We did a lot of
local races - San Francisco Bay. It was great fun, but in my youth. I no
longer have the strength. the Second race to Hawaii was in a Farr 48 and
that was too big for my body. I usually worked foredeck and the sails just
got too big for me to handle.

we're using those little rotating tabs, one on each door in Houston and they
are adequate in the air but doors open on the ground. We tinted the
overhead. Normally our altitudes are below 2000msl. So far we only had a few 100deg
F
days.
