The post I gave yesterday with a company website is an Australian that
brought the technology to North America. He can re-gas your struts, or if
they are no good, he'll remanufacture one.

Rex - I'm also in Oz. Where did you get your struts regassed?

I purchased on (at the tune of 40 bucks!) from a truck-bed-top-thingie

Hi ! Andrew, I live in Australia so the situation might be different
but have you considered having the struts you have regassed to a higher
pressure. This would save finding other struts and maybe having to
modify fittings. Also you virtually know they will then work. I had two
struts one got a little weaker and the other was as always but I thought
it would be better with a little more pressure. I got that one regassed
to 15% more pressure and the weak one to match. It's now great and the
cost in Australia anyway is only $22 per strut while you wait a lot of
      times. Rex.

Mine has a manufacturer nametag on it, which I don't recall, but it is
something like Docking Engineering or Locking Engineering (I have a photo of
it but it is difficult to make out) The part number is 101-35030-11. I would
try going to that manufacturer first.

      All,

      I have an NSI radiator ( 6 x 4 x 22 ) and its too big. I don't have a
      thermostat
and I have to block off about 1/3 of it during the summer and 2/3 during
      the
winter to get my water temps above 150 degrees F.

I'd like to go with a smaller radiator to reduce the drag as well. I've
      figured that
at 80 kts its using about 5 HP in drag hanging out in the bottom
      slipstream.
      ( 1 sq ft. @ 80 kts @ est. Dcoef 1.2 ).

I've got two 1.125" hose ports. Any sources or ideas ?

Not a bad idea to have a little too much cooling and good practice to run a
T/Stat. A good option is to put a fairing around the radiator to reduce
      drag.

Anyone ever have a "rotax" tack work one moment then go Eractic the next?
Appears to be grounding issue, but prior owner said he tracked down ground,
replace tack and sender, but could never cure the problem. Every once in a
while Oil Pressure gauge will do same... Sounds like grounding , but not
sure if at dash or engine.. Thoughts? Any suggestions on what to use for
      meter/tools to find problem?
      thanks

      All,
I bought a 10" UHS fiberglass spinner to go over my Warp Drive
three blade with HP hub. The spinner back plate looks to be about .08" of
chopped strand mat fiberglass - not a very robust part, in my opinion. Has
anyone cracked or broken one of these? Should I reinforce it with some of
      my carbon iso-plate?

      Thanks,
