Tom,
This is really impressive! 120 mph indicated = about 132 mph TAS. It will
be interesting to see what it can do once you add wheel pants and get it
aerodynamically clean.
Btw, I know this is not the first bug that you killed with the plane, I saw
one on the back edge of your rudder once.
Merry Christmas,
Cliff

Hah Cliff,
that can't be right. I dodge the bugs I see overtaking me in my rearview
mirror.
Merry Christmas my friend!
Tom
By the way when I was up yesterday and was flying near a lake, I found
myself
pulling up sharply to avoid a long string of geese. When I got home
and read about the tragedy at Longmont, I wondered if that might have been
a factor. We may never know. How sad anyway.
Keep your head on a swivel.

I'm thinking of putting a valve in my heater hose to control the flow of
water through my heater coil. Has anyone tried this? I have a 912S
with the Skystar heater.

I use a NAPA heater control valve.. About $20. This is pretty standard.
On a hot day you really do not need the extra cabin heat. Simple to
install and controlled with a push, pull control
