Hi Guys, Because so many on the list have been more then fair selling me
Parts I have needed. I feel I should be fair and give back to the list. If
anyone needs, (a same as new 582 radiator) then I will take $55.00 +
shipping and it's yours. If no one needs it I will post it on Ebay in a few
days. Please don't confuse my offer as a bidding war for a item. I only want
to see that anyone needing this item will be able to get it for a good
price. If more then two people offer to buy it then I will post it on Ebay
with a reserve price of $50.00 to keep it fair, and not start a bidding
session on the list. Please contact me off list @ jeburke94je@direcway.com

      Steve,
Plan on some time around the Olympic Mountains west of Seattle. The photos
of Michel flying the fjords in Norway remind me of the view flying over
Dabob bay on Hood Canal. I hope to have my model 5 flying this spring. As
soon as the rain quits the flaperons, doors and cowling get paint and I can
      finish assembly and rigging.

      Steve,

Just throwing in my 2 cents worth...

Depends upon how far East you can go. These are
pretty much south of Calgary and a few off my list.
Don't know about their flight restrictions though.

      Hells Canyon

The Sawtooth wilderness and mountains are good.

      Craters of the moon

      Tetons, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone

      Most of central Idaho

      Glacier Park Montana

And more if you want to go further south.

      Kurt S.

      OK Guys,
I'm sitting here with my team in the lab, doing an "all-nighter" trying to
solve some really wierd glitches with a new machine that has to be demo'ed
by the CEO of the company, at a meeting between the Board and some new
investors, in the morning (about 4 hours away). To stop myself going nuts
I decided to have a break for a few minutes, and then took a look at the
KF list and noted all your exchanges re a rendevouz in Oregon, and saw
Allan Daniels' kind invitation to drop in at any time.

That got me to thinking (diversional therapy at this time of the night),
and decided that it would be a great idea to join you for the fly-in. I
have just done all the calcs and it should work out fine. If I do the
great circle path across the Pacific from sydney to LA, and then on to
Oregon where Allan is, thats just 12,570kms. If I average 85kts ( thats
153 km/h) it will take me 82:09hrs flying, plus 0:30hrs for
hold/diversion, so thats only 82:39 total time. At 16ltrs/hr, I only need
1336 ltrs (incl reserve). If I start with 98 ltrs in my two wing tanks, I
only need to store 1238 ltrs in the trailing tank (a new invention of mine
      - somewhat like a giant bloated pig's hide with wings attached).

A couple of cans of Coke (OK, fruit juice, to please my health concious
wife), a few sandwiches, and I'll be set!

So Allan, if I leave next Saturday morning, should get there by the
following Wednesday. Make sure you've got the coffee on, around 11:00am.
      OK?

      Hi Don,

I heard this from Ken Schooley a former Avid Dealer in Southern California.
He is in the process of building a KF Series 7 has been keeping in contact
with former Skystar employees (maybe Phil Reed) about parts he needs to
finish up his plane. Ken was told that they have several buyers lined up and
that they are waiting for a court to hear the case.

Robert, you can't throw that out without details! Tell us what you know. Has
there been a purchase of Skystar assets? I know a group was once interested
in buying SS, but I do not know the present status.

Skystar may be back in business by end of February 2006. I hope they have a
speedy recovery and that LSA boosts their sales.

Come on down. This is a great place to base out of for Idaho and Oregon

room to camp - even a swimming pool when it is warm-, extra cars and a
love of adventure. I am serious. We would enjoy it.

      OK Guys,
I'm sitting here with my team in the lab, doing an "all-nighter" trying to
solve some really wierd glitches with a new machine that has to be demo'ed
by the CEO of the company, at a meeting between the Board and some new
investors, in the morning (about 4 hours away).

      OK?

      Regards

Please don't make your plans public! I work for UPS
and they drive those double and triple trailors all
around. Since we are in contract negotiations, they
have been suspicially eyeing our aircraft for mods.
The AirBus's are exempt for having weak tails, but the
      rest....

They are also considering putting deflectors on the
top of the cockpit to allow us to go into the wind
      faster. Blink..blink

      For real! ;-)

On the other hand, we are trying to get the crew
      sleeper option....

      Steve,

Just throwing in my 2 cents worth...

Depends upon how far East you can go. These are
pretty much south of Calgary and a few off my list.
Don't know about their flight restrictions though.

      Hells Canyon

The Sawtooth wilderness and mountains are good.

      Craters of the moon

      Tetons, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone

      Most of central Idaho

      Glacier Park Montana

And more if you want to go further south.

      Kurt S.

      Hi Jeremy,
      I have a mount for a 912 series 6 I will sell cheap. I switched to the 7
fwf and do not need this one. You will still need the ring from rotax
though. Just give me a call or email me off list and I'll get it sent out
      right away.

What's the best way to learn details about the Kitfox 7, like construction
materials & details of various components, weight of basic airframe with
specific engines like 0-200, performance with 0-200, Rotax 100+ h.p., fuel tanks

vs folded wing transport, & cost of engines, props & "projects"? My interest
is cross country with long range tanks & low weight pilot/passenger 7 little
      luggage.

      Hi Jeremy,
      I have a mount for a 912 series 6 I will sell cheap. I switched to the 7
fwf and do not need this one. You will still need the ring from rotax
though. Just give me a call or email me off list and I'll get it sent out
      right away.

I am considering purchasing both these items that are new and never used from someone
      selling a kit.

Can you give me any information on repair bulletins or suggested upgrades I should
      do before instillation.

      thank you
