That is great news.
Could you let us know what the future holds for the Kitfox line. Changes?
Support? etc.
Thanks, Brett

When they get you all calmed down, Michel, try this one on for
size.....I've always had the notion that our universe, instead of going
on forever out into space, came to a stop, and that our universe was
just a big transparent sphere that hung in another larger space, along
with other universes, and that all these universes were watched over by
some guy sitting on a giant stool and he would watch each universe and
see how they did things, and wrote them down on a large clip-board and
perhaps made reports to some other similar "universe watchers".
I just couldn't imagine that the universe went on forever, so this is
what I came up with....then I got busy living life and not worrying
about where the boundaries were. Maybe that's why I built the
Kitfox....so maybe I could fly out to where our transparent sphere ends
and watch the "watchers".....Nurse, I'll have what Michel's having,
thank you....: )

I have posted on Sportflight, a flyer announcing the 38th Annual All
You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast Fly-In and Cruise-In, held at the hangar
of the EAA Chapter 304, at Jackson County Airport, 3606 Wildwood
Avenue, Jackson Michigan, on June 11, 7 am to 3 pm.
The flyer can be seen at:
http://www.sportflight.com/cgi-bin/
uploader.pl?action=view&epoch=1144425091
This would be a good time for Kitfox owners to get together and either
plan for our own fly-in or just say "here we all are, I guess this IS
our Michigan Kitfox Fly-In, so let's do it again next year!" What do
you all think? I'm not real big on organizing things, so if we ride on
the coattails of the existing, established (see 38th Annual...) fly-in,
we could splinter off next year and hold our 2nd Annual Michigan (or
Eastern, Central, Regional, National, World.....whatever it becomes)
Kitfox Fly-In somewhere to be named later.
This could be the start of something big...oops, that's plagarism...

The Corvairs may be new to the Kitfox, but they seem to be gaining popularity with the KR-2 (small fast glass)crowd. If you go to www.krnet.org you can get a lot of helpful info on using a Corvair. Be sure to go to Mark Langfords section. This guy is a glutton for trying new things, working out the bugs and then sharing all of his knowlege with the rest of the world (in great detail). If you're considering a Corvair, then this is the place to go.

I just acquired a fiber optic scope for looking inside things.
I have a 912UL still in the box sitting in my garage for 8 years. I want
to look inside of it.
Any suggestions on where to look (for rust, etc)?
What are good access places to insert the fiber optic cable? How about
the oil banjo bolt hole? Any others?
Ideas appreciated,

If you pull the reduction drive off, you can see quite a bit through the
vent. The hole is about 1/2" dia. Mine was 8 years old and still in the box.
It appears to be OK. I will find out soon. I did put about a quart of oil in
it and physically roll it over to get the lifter faces. That was the area of
greatest concern to me.
