standard day, (65 HP) 103-4 on a cooler day.
you have 92 kts = 106 MPH it means you have 73 HP if everything else
is the same.

A starter relay is a solenoid. It can handle a lot of current for
relatively short periods of time. There are other solenoids available that
are specifically designed for longer periods of energization.

Adverse yaw, what's that, oh! that's what makes the kitfox fun. Just build it
and go fly it, after awhile you won't realize the airplane has the adverse yaw.

Hi Grant,
Yes, there has been several failures of the cockpit

think yours is one of the less violent, if that helps.
It has been 4-5 years sind the last one, if memory
serves....
Based upon list advice, I added aluminum angles unde
the caps and riveted them to the ribs. The skylite
bolts then go thru these angles to reinforce the caps.
I think I did every other bolt....
Congrats on your flying! Sorry about the skylite
though. Sounds like testing served its purpose, but
you will be grounded for a bit to fix it?

Michel,
It is often hard to find noises in vehicles, even
relatively quiet cars. One thing that may help is if
you hold the unused headset mike up to suspected
sources and listen over the intercom, squelch adjusted
accordingly. You will only hear it over the intercom
when the mike is near the source. Might help you
isolate it if the source is in reach.
If it is on the right behind the seat, the right
passanger might have to twist around a lot, unless
they do the stall while you check behind them from the
left seat.
Just an idea,
kurt S.

Lynn and the List,
Make sure you have a way to turn off ALL the fuel,
including the header tank, if you have one. That is
what the origional header-to-engine shutoff was for.
I agree that wing tank valves come in handy,
especially for down stream fuel line work. I don't
have them yet. I just put a clamp on the hose so far,
even in flight. Worry about damaging the Tygon hose,
but so far it is fine. A fuel system re-work is in
the plan for '07.

Check all your elevator/stab mounts for solid

move a little?
