Subject: Kitfox-List: varnish before or after? I cannot find this advice in my old assembly manual and figured I'd ask the list. Do you varnish new ribs before or after gluing them in?? It might be better to reply to occom@ns.sympatico.ca rather than start an argument if it can go both ways. Hi Dave, I found the procedure in my builders manual. Varnish after all assembly on the wing is complete. It is part of the wing pre-cover porcedures. Hello to all!!! The Desert Fox Squadron and Friends Annual Fly-in will be held March 30, 31, and April 1st here at beautiful Thunder Ridge Airpark!! Sorry to have to reschedule it but I promise this will be the last time. The web-site should be updated by now and activities will pretty much stay the same. The weather is beautiful and perfect for flying! Friday will be "cook-your-own" burger, hot dog or BBQ beef with the trimmings. We'll provide the food, you provide the manpower! As usual, Saturday will be catered Mexican Food from Anita's. Sunday we'll part company! As usual, I'll need an RSVP to plan for food and beds. If anyone is coming early or leaving later, please let me know! If you'll need anything special, give me plenty of notice. We love seeing all our old friends AND making new ones. For those of you who can't make it, we hope you'll be here next year!
