Hello List
(back after many years lurking)
I am very anxious to find a pair of droop wingtips ( or even just a
starboard tip ) for a Model IV ( also same as Mod III ).
Anyone out there have some they didn't use, and would like to sell ?
Thanks !

I would still be at the wire or plug cap. cut the wire back 1/2 an inch and
reinstall the cap, if it had any issue it could have burned there.

Just in case someone is looking for me, I will be off
list and out of country until October. Going down to
Panama and Brazil for 2 months and can't keep up with
the e-mails, so I will log off until I get back.

Jim,
Is there any way to mount it lower than the engine as Rotax recommends.
I have been thinking of modifying mine to do that. I haven't figured it
out yet. Only so much room. Jeff Classic IV 912UL

Subject: Kitfox-List: Oil Tank
I'm wondering if anybody can help me out with a oil tank problem
for a new 912? My old tank isn't in the greatest shape, I have a new one
that came with my new 912 but it's apparently 1" to long and needs to be
cut down. Any Idea who can perform this task for me? Thanks

Jim,
I have a pair of droop tips that came with my KF model IV-1050 in 1991.
One is assembled and the other is still in two halves. I'll give them to
you if you'll pay for the packing and shipping. Where are you located?

I'd like to add wheel fairings to my kitfox (mainly for asthetics). Aircraft Spruce
sells a pair that look like they'll fit my 8x4 wheels. Here's a link:

Has anyone tried them on a Kitfox with spring gear?
