I just wish everyone was posting these "neat" pictures the correct way so that
those unfortunate souls like me that only get the digest version, could see the
pictures also.

Subject: | Test Pilot/Flight Instructor |
Hello all
I'm planning on completing my Kitfox IV by sometime this fall. Since my piloting
skills are way out of date, I think it prudent to hire a test plot/flight instructor
that is located near my home in central California. Is there anybody
out there that might be interested or know of someone who might be?
I 'm planning on having the test pilot do the first fight as well as the required
40 hrs. Then I will get myself retrained in my own aircraft.
Thanks in advance

Nice looking float plane. A fair amount of bidding interest. Do not archive

Subject: | Cancelled - 2008 Cameron Park Fly-in |
Posted for: "Lowell Fitt" <lcfitt@sbcglobal.net>
It is with real regret that Kay and I are cancelling the 2008 (what
would have been the tenth annual) Kitfox Fly-in and BBQ. The
problem? California's litigious climate and other factors. Thanks to
the Arlington jury award of several years ago. Insurance is simply
not available and the new trend is for medical insurers to go after
hosts of events for cost reimbursements in the case of illness or
injury. We have not worried about our friends, but we worry greatly
about third parties with financial considerations dictated by CFOs
and Corporate attorneys (Not guys and gals with Kitfoxes with big
grins on their faces).
We are sad. We have many fond memories of the good times and good
folks we have met who have become good friends over the
years. Golden West has approached us in the past and encouraged us
to use their venue for our event. That may work in the future if
there is sufficient interest, but definitely not this year.
Our sincere apologies for the late announcement, but we have been
beating the bushes and hoping and have simply run out of time.
