Thank you Gary, You sure have an interesting site! I wish I had faster in
tenet service. I would like to look at all the photos, but with my slow di
alup, it takes a long time. My 912 UL engine came off a pusher (Rans S-12)
and used a bed mount. I was trying to find out if the Kitfox 912 mount us
ed the mount that Rotax sells for attaching to the rear of the engine. I s
ee that it does. Hope I can find the Rotax mount used somewhere, I couldn'
t believe what rotax wanted for it in my 3 year old catalog, and I know the
prices listed are about 1/3 higher now. I'm planning to call John Mcbean
today, I'm sure that will help to clear up some of my questions. Thanks ag

Do any of you have a set of tube gear for a model 5? Maybe you have upgrade
d to Grove gear or moved to floats? My rebuild project is moving forward an
d I'll be needing a place to put the wheels before too long. Thanks,JoelMod

You can find all Rotax engine specs at http://www.rotax-owner.com/manuals.htm Look under Operating Instructions page 10 -1 from the 912 manual. This will give you info on max/min and normal operation range. I don't believe they list EGT's temps anywhere.
