Lowell, Thanks for your reply. I will probably attach the scoop with the long bolts. Yodaone, thanks for the great pictures! They will be very helpful for my installation. Please send more pictures as you go thru the installation process. You have done very nice work. I have also installed the wing cuffs on my aircraft. It was a mystery how to attach them but I finally figured it out. I can't say as I can see any difference in airspeed but they look nice.(but then I have those fat tires) Dick Maddux Pensacola,Fl **************Gas prices getting you down? Are those items (radiator scoop and cuffs) available from Kitfox, or is there another supplier? Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=190536#190536

Hi Everyone, Does anyone have the manual pages that are needed to install the bungee cords on a model 3? We have a completed model 3, and the bungee cords were installed by a previous owner. They need to be tightened, or replaced, and it would be helpful to have this information and/or any other advice. Thanks in advance, Jim Gilliatt

Geir, =0A=0ABefore attempting to land on hard surfaces, be sure to check the toe-in and camber of your landing gear. The hard surfaces are unforgiving if the toe-in and/or camber are very are far off. Geir, I learned my squirrely bird on hard surface, then transitioned to grass... Very important, check air pressure in your tires if they are the atv style tires there should only be 6 to 8 psi in the tires. Took the squirrely rt out of my 4 when I lowered air pressure. I also suggest only 3 pointing until you get good so you wont risk side loading a tire trying to main wheel land. It's not that hard, just dance left and right on them rudder pedals when the tail gets on the ground so she wont break around backwards on you.
