Yes folks, let's not forget that copying a Registered Trademark is a
criminal (?) offense....Lord knows I had to deal with enough of that
in 20 years of photographic work. These folks work hard to design
these logos, and if we like 'em well enough to display them, we
should pay for them.
Ok, John, how 'bout some freebies? : )

Hi,
Would you mind putting your full name in your signature.
It's a lot more friendly than calling you "yodaone". It would also be
helpful if you'd include your location.
On a more technical side, I too have weak brakes, but
Clevelands. What make/model/diameter tube did you start and end with.
(I know you ended with 1/8" OD, but what kind of tube?)

There are a couple places I've seen so far in the instructions that call for a
hole to be reamed to a tight fit. When I use a 3/16"(.1875) reamer, the bolts
are usually a tight fit. On the flaperon mixer, two spots call for a .250 reamer
and a tight fit, but the bolts that I have are only .246". How do I achieve
a tight fit? I realize that AN bolts can vary in size but I don't think I can
get a bolt supplier to check each bolt. Also when I fit bolts to the bushings,
such a the ones on the side of the fuse where the mixer attaches, I always seem
to end up with a tiny amount of play depending on the bolt I happen to pick
up. Anyone see a problem?

Hi, Ron.
If you're still interested on that cowl, take a look on the pictures at the
adress below. They show how it was built.

Aircraft Spruce, and I'm sure others, have "close tolerance bolts"
that are supposed to be closer to the stated size...that is, closer
to .250" fora 1/4" bolt. I ordered some of these and found they they
were a thousandth or two SMALLER than the ones that I had, so good
luck in finding a better fit. On places like that, now that you're
aware of it, I think I'd mike the bolts beforehand, and ream slightly
small at first. Reamers are available in almost any size imaginable,
so if you have a machinist supply house available to you, I'd get
some slightly smaller reamers...hope you haven't got them all reamed
already.
