No sir, I have the clutch... I am trying to figure out a way to be able to lock
it up in the event of a battery failure out in the boonies... I have to pull
it apart next time home and see if I can drill and tap the clutch so set screws
can be run in to prop it in the event that I lose a starter or battery.

John,
I didn't have an opportunity to call today, but I did talk to Mark, At
present, he wants to keep all fab in house. I am busy now making jigs for
the gear legs. The cabane and spring strut jigs are done. I will let you
know when they will be available. My guess, 4 or 5 weeks with all the honey
dos etc around here.

Here's my theory. Tell me if I am right or not. I want to install my supply
to the heater in the hose as close to the engine as possible after the coo
lant exits the engine at the head. Coolant will be hottest there. I want to
return coolant from heater to system as close to pump as possible. This wo
uld mean path of least resistance would route as much hot coolant as 5/8" h
eater hose could handle and remainder would continue thru radiator. And=2C
shut off valve in heater hose only would not restrict 1" radiator routing s
hould it fail=2C as you pointed out Darin. It would also help to use Y's in
stead of tee's. Anybody got a source for 1"x1" x 5/8" Y's or tee's?

Subject: | 582 Heater hose routing |
Marco=2C I am a Pontiac Fiero crazy. I am using a heater core from a Fiero.
I found it new on E-Bay at some radiator supply house reducing slow moving
inventory for $25 or so. I made a mounting frame from aluminum angle pop r
iveted together and got a 12 volt 6" computer fan at Radio shack for $19 or
there abouts. Should work. Darin Hawkes said he has all the heat he can us
e on his heater. Hey Darin what is the routing on your heater set up?
