Am I the only one, but the list died for me last weekend. I tried the

Here's the good news some of you have been waiting for. I'm
forwarding Electroair's announcement of the availability and pricing
of their Direct Fire ignition system, using either one (eliminating
one Jabiru distributor and coil) or two (eliminating both Jabiru
distributors and coils) magnetic sensors and a trigger wheel.

I'v been doing lots of flying but not in my Kitfox. I flew to Arizona Wed. the
6th to work for the Forest Service on a fire near Fort Huachuca. We initial
attacked several new fires while I was there. I took this picture on one fire
at 8400 feet elevation in the Huachuca Mountains. The burn pattern in a circle
indicates the fire has burned with very little wind affecting the spread direction.
It is an interesting picture, to me anyhow being that I have fought
wild land fires for the past 42 years. I was in a bell 407 helicopter.

I did. I have some more photos of that plane I'll send to Derek and I'll let Vic
      know
who owns that airplane now. There was a time after Vic last knew the owners in
      TX that
the plane was listed as "salvage" in the registration so might be interesting what
happened. Vic said it was a bit squirrelly on rollout compared to the C170 and
      some
      other tail draggers he owned.

Just happened to stumble on this website doing some research on the 11A. Think
its neat to find out the history on my plane and who has owned it in the past.
Wonder if anyone happens to have any pictures of the inside of N1615B as I'm
trying to get all the parts to it with it. Purchase approx 3 luscombe 11A with
enough parts to do 2. N1615B basicly needs a new painted job as its been
stripped down to the metal and put back together.

      derek

John - you just want me to beg, don't you? OK then, where are the photos? :)

I want to see the smoke coming from that radial engine on the first revolution
      with
the starter, your cool stuff and the paint work. Maybe some info on the building
      process too.

A liberal wakes up to liberalism: "President Obama's team, unlike
Bush's team, demonstrates a thinness of skin that shocks me. When I
somewhat obviously and empirically judged that the populist Obama
administration is exacerbating the crisis with its budget and
policies, as evidenced by the incredible decline in the [stock

condescension and ridicule rather than constructive debate or even
just benign dismissal. I said to myself, 'What the heck? Are they
really that blind to the Great Wealth Destruction they are causing
with their decisions to demonize the bankers, raise taxes for the
wealthy, advocate draconian cap-and-trade policies and upend the

Where did they think that the money saved for college went, our
      mattresses?"
