This is the second year at Lakeland that I have looked at this engine and it is now installed in more and more aircraft. This year it was in a Zenith 601 on display. I don't have all the specs with me as I am still in my mountain cabin in NC and the info is at home in hot FL. As I recall it is an air cooled direct drive engine, fuel injected,Fadec, produces 100 hp and weighs the same(within a few pounds) of the Rotex. The price is about the same or a little less. It is mfg in Belgium. I talked with the engineer about this engine and I am very impressed ! It is a modern air cooled engine with electronic ignition that has adopted all the good features we want without the complexity or numerous parts of the Rotax engine system (also no carbs or distributors like the Jab) Has anyone else thought about this engine ?
