I had about 50 hours of ground running and two hours of air time on it. I changed out the Subaru engine for a Great plains VW since then. The Aerocarb ran fine once it was adjusted properly but the adjustment seemed very finicky to me. It seemed you could adjust it one day and it would run fine. The next day (possibly a change in air pressure) and you would need to readjust it. Adjustments needed were very fine and to lock the adjustment in place a pipe plug was used like a jam nut up against the adjustment screw. While tightening the pipe plug down the adjusment screw often would turn a eighth or quarter turn or so and throw off the adjustment.
