Jack,
I bought my throttle cable replacement from Lockwood. It was very
reasonable and they sell either the cable or the sheath. If you have the "old"
bellcrank,as I have, you can then use Highwing LLc's "throttle bug" which
makes carb syncing a piece of cake ! (you pneumatically sync one carb to the
other with a turn of a knob-takes all of about 30 seconds !)

Here's a photo of a Classic 4 with the wings folded. This is the right wing.
The wing lock back brace in the photo has a tab on the right end with a hole for
a bolt that holds both lock back braces. The bolt goes through that tube you
mentioned at the lower front of the vertical fin.

Mic,
It must be in some super secret hidden link. I couldn't find it when I
went to their site.

Check out www.bullyhawk.com They make an amazing throttle cable. It is
some new weave of cable that when you push on it outside of the cover it
actually straightens out instead of bending. very neat stuff.

Subject: | Unmounting engine |
I'd like to address a persistent oil leak in a rear accessory case of my 912UL.
It's a slow drip that I could live with if it weren't that it drips on the lower
motor mounts. The oil and the heat conspire to ruin the mounts. Only problem
is that I have to unmount the engine to get to the problem area. I didn't build
this airplane and I've never done any work this involved. Any advice on this?
Anything in particular I should look out for?
