Subject: | New Kitfox Classic IV - for sale |
July 7, 2009
Dear List:
The attached flier shows the essentially brand new Classic IV we now must
sell because of anticipated Army activation & deployment, accompanied by a
family change in location. The plane is brand new. It has been in storage
in Auburn, Alabama for a couple of years and has never been flown. I
would like to recoup our $32,000 investment but will entertain serious
offers. The wing was slightly damaged in transit to the storage location
but can easily be repaired.
If interested please contact me. I would appreciate it if you would
forward this information and the attached flier to anyone who might be
interested.
Thanks!
Jim Floyd

Subject: | Throttle cable another question |
Thanks to all of you who answered my question about my throttlle cable.
I have the one that splits into two cables to reach the carbs and was
finally able to achieve an accaptable carb sync job, but I will order
John and Debra's friction cable. My other question is what vaccum gauge
are you guys using to do the pneumatic sync? I did it with the in dash
manifold pressure gauge but had to swich the connection to the carb
about 10 times before matching the readings. The auto parts dealer have
no idea about dual gauges.
