Don, Thanks for your report on the fuel lines! I replaced mine with fuel injection lines about 6 months ago but now I will watch those even more closely! I have a primer on my 912 and I was thinking that perhaps this could have been used to keep the engine running in the situation you described. This of course would depend on where the clog occurred. I also have the Northstar fuel flow gauge down stream of my primer. My thought was if that should cause a stoppage and I was fast enough I could keep the engine running with the primer. I have had to do this on one occasion with a production aircraft. Well, it is "curtains" for us in NW Florida. All of the gas stations have gone to gasohol except one. Many of the people at our field made a rush on the one remaining station (independent) and you would have thought we were having another hurricane! Just postponing the inevitable. I guess after reading all the discussions here I will use the gasohol (vs avgas) and keep a close watch on my tanks and lines. Dick Maddux Fox 4 Milton,Fl **************What's for dinner tonight? Thanks for the info Don. I have heard about that problem before. I was told that the mil spec line is swelling inside but I din't imagine it could almost shut completely. I think this is very important info to all uf us still using the original mil line. I went to the auto parts to get the injection 3/8-R9 hose this morning.I'll replace the smaller ones also. Jack
