I've performed a search regarding engine selection specific to VW applications and the AeroVee. Did anyone follow through with an AeroVee installation and if so, are you satisfied with performance? I have a new grey head 582 complete FF setup for my model IV, but am continuing to research other options. Appreciate any feedback. I've also been evaluating the Jabiru 2200. Lane

I am using the Dynon EFIS with the Garmin 296's flight instrument page for backup. Chris, Nice looking plane. Could you give a little info on the lights you have attached to the landing gear? I am wanting to install some sort of landing lights on my Model 7 and need some ideas.....thanks Roger McConnell, Duncan, OK Model 7 Trigear, Rotax 912uls Flying sense Jan. 06 _____ From: owner-kitfox-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-kitfox-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of CDE2fly@aol.com Sent: Friday, July 31, 2009 10:15 PM Subject: Kitfox-List: Series 7 Completion After 3 1/2 years of construction, Series 7 N725CE took off for the first time on July 28th. I'm happy to report that the first flight was uneventful and required no trimming to fly hands off. Power is provided by a Rotax 912S turning a three bladed IVO electronically adjustable prop and it is a joy to fly with excellent control authority and stability (intercoastals were used on both the rudder and stabilizer). The panel includes includes a Dynon D100, Flight Cheetah FL210 moving map GPS with satellite weather and synthetic vision, EIS engine analyzer, icom A200 radio, and EP Load Center. Custom features include cockpit adjustable rudder trim and custom built hinge gap seals for the elevator which result in very effective elevator control and easy three point landings just above stall speed. The polyfiber system was used for coving and Aerothane paint was used throughout. Empty weight is 838 pounds...several photos attached. Looking forward to flying off the 40 hours! Thanks to all who have responded to my question. I have lots of ideas and time will tell if I go with an EFIS or my panel looks traditional and old fashioned. Lowell
