Just a point of clarification, or question.....was Kreeme used to
resist ethanol, or to seal the fiberglas "hairs" and pinholes? My
tanks were factory-Kreemed in 1994 when first sold...I re-Kreemed
them in 2004 or 2005....and how long has ethanol been around? In our
mogas, not just in general.

If you are having trouble finding ethanol free gas, Consider calling a few of
the gasoline distributers in your area, and asking if they know of any brands
or stations that handle ethanol free gas. You will probably have to ask for the
manager. These folks tend to know what is going on in their markets and with
their competitors.

I've got a Warp drive. I was just kidding, as I'm not really worried
about anything leaving the airframe.

I believe there are two separate coils that make up the transducer supply w
indings (LC-1 and LC-2).- Each one of these charges each Transducer (the
automobile looking coils on the outside with the spark plug wires).- each
transducer fires a plug in each cylinder.- Am I confused, I hope not or
the ignition is not truly redundant.[/b]

Mine did the same thing... Set it for gallons per hour instead of liters per hour.
I thought I had done that when I first installed it, but I guess it did not
"take" I went through the setup again and she works perfect!

>From what I've read and I think the point you are making, is that the Kreem was
used to seal the fiberglass tanks. If my memory serves correctly I don't think
ethanol was considered a problem in the mid to late 90's as I believe auto
gas could be bought pretty much anywhere without it. I do believe that the Kreem
product available today is not affected by fuel containing 10% ethanol and
maybe has never been. Again, others may be more informed than me as much of what
I have learned has been from those posting on this forum.

There are redundant coils on the stator. There is not one set of wires that feed
both trigger coils and both external coils, but two separate sets. It is conceivable
that one set of coils on the stator heads south in a big way, it could
take the other coils on vacation with it.
At least, this is how I understand it and how I have gone about trouble shooting
a stator to figure what went south on a 582 blue head I had to work on.
