My tanks were factory-Kreemed in 1994 when first sold...I re-Kreemed them in 2004 or 2005....and how long has ethanol been around? In our mogas, not just in general. You will probably have to ask for the manager. These folks tend to know what is going on in their markets and with their competitors. If my memory serves correctly I don't think ethanol was considered a problem in the mid to late 90's as I believe auto gas could be bought pretty much anywhere without it. I do believe that the Kreem product available today is not affected by fuel containing 10% ethanol and maybe has never been. Again, others may be more informed than me as much of what I have learned has been from those posting on this forum. There is not one set of wires that feed both trigger coils and both external coils, but two separate sets. It is conceivable that one set of coils on the stator heads south in a big way, it could take the other coils on vacation with it. At least, this is how I understand it and how I have gone about trouble shooting a stator to figure what went south on a 582 blue head I had to work on. -------- DO NOT ARCHIVE Leonard Perry aka SNAKE Soldotna AK Avid "C" / Mk IV 582 IVO IFA Full Lotus 1450 #1 snake oil salesman since 1-22-2009 hander outer of humorless darwin awards Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=269285#269285 ________________________________ Message 8 _____________________________________ Time: 06:57:48 PM PST US Subject: Kitfox-List: Re: 582 Ignition From: "akflyer" http://www.800-airwolf.com/pdffiles/ARTICLES/part20.pdf Kinda points out what I was saying above. -------- DO NOT ARCHIVE Leonard Perry aka SNAKE Soldotna AK Avid "C" / Mk IV 582 IVO IFA Full Lotus 1450 #1 snake oil salesman since 1-22-2009 hander outer of humorless darwin awards Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=269287#269287 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message kitfox-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Kitfox-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/kitfox-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/kitfox-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
