Where is everybody? Somebody has got to have a busted Kitfox somewhere Am I
the only one flying?
Yesterday I got irritated waiting for this spam can to take off at our
local county airport. He must have blocked the runway for 10 minutes (at hold
short line) so I taxied onto the rough gully ridden grass next to the runway,
poured the power to the airplane and hopped off in less than 100 ft. I
didn't even hit the culvert! What a great little Bush plane! Sure glad I have
those fat tires! That turkey was still blocking the runway 5 minutes later as
I heard him announce his takeoff. Soooo ,that's the extent of my day .

Probably waiting for an IFR release. He definitely shouldn't have
been blocking the runway while waiting. How rude.
