Sorry for giving you that leaky tank Pat. I had the same issue with my orig
inal header tank which caused me to purchase the one I eventually gave you.
Fixed the original with some fuel resistant sealer-goop I bought at the lo
cal auto parts store for much less than $99. No leaks since. There's as muc
h luck as there is science to stopping leaky fluids methinks. Just ask BP.

rs, I don't remember who recommended the ACS $93 for a 3 oz of 370 fitting
sealant, but my damn header tank fittings are still leaking. I ordered and
received a tube today. By the way the price has gone to$99- + shipping fo
r the 3 oz tube. That stuff had better work!=0A=0A-- =0APat Reilly=0AMod 3

Marco, Good to hear from you. I didn't swear at you even once. The price on
that tank was unbeatable. Thinking about it I could have just used my
original aluminum tank and moved it down behind the seat with a little
bracket work. I'll let you know how the $100 for 3 oz stuff works. I put it
on this morning and if the way it sticks to your fingers is the way it
sticks to the fittings, it will work.
Will you be at Oshkosh this year?
A guy I woked with's son sent him some pictures of that rig on fire in the
gulf, that you refer to. BP leasted that rig for $500K a day from the mfgr.
It cost another 1/2 a million a day to man and operate it. I figured at $80
a barrel it took 12500 barrels a day to reach break even. Can you imagine
how some people in this country viilify "Big Oil"s profit of $.04 a gallon
with what it takes to find and produce oil provideing us with energy, jobs
and a future. And, big government collects $.51 a gallon for doing nothing.

Len, My experience is drasticly limited as a new pilot. I think your right
about AOA. Just as long as you are prepared and don't get airborne before
your ready on take off, I guess there is no such thing as excessive AOA..
