The instructions are telling me to install some spacer washer in front and behind the cam for proper 912 rpm. Run the engine and see if I got lucky and installed the right amount of washers in the right location. If not, dismantle, move washers reinstall and try running the engine again and repeat until correct. This all sounds like a bunch of trial and error which might not be required if someone out there already has the set up correct. If someone can tell me what the right amount of washers are in front and back I would appreciate it very much. Thanks Brian Speederster 912 99% ready to go. ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 06:47:40 PM PST US Subject: Kitfox-List: Re: wood ribs on tailfeathers on a Kitfox 4 From: "dholly" I have the horizontal tail intercoastal installation instruction pages from both the Model III and IV manuals. Both call for 6 Mil aircraft ply material, however, there are some notable differences. Ie., intercoastal ribs are used in both horizontal stabilizer and elevator on the M-III (6 ribs in each), and it appears only the horizontal stabilizer on the M-IV used the ribs (6 ribs). The shape and length of the intercoastal ribs between Models are different as well, due in part to tubing dia. differences. -------- -Kitfox III 582 Blue/C Grove Spring / Aerocet 1100 Amphibs -Airdale Avid+ Jab2200 W.I.B. project Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=301356#301356 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message kitfox-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Kitfox-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/kitfox-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/kitfox-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
