Some guys want to be able to see the fuel in their lines and the automotive hoses don't allow that. Personally I agree with you. Use the stuff and forget about changing hose for many many years just like the auto people do. Paul- If I were flying an automobile, I;d buy those hoses and keep them for years.=C2- 2 bucks a foot to change hoses ever year or two is very cheap insurance. I haven't yet found a curb to pull up next to on the skyway if I=C2-have a problem. I use the old Motorcycle adage, "if you got a cheap head-buy a cheap helmet".-Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: "Noel Loveys" <noelloveys@yahoo.ca> Sent: Monday, July 12, 2010 10:39:23 AM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: RE: Kitfox-List: Re: Removing ethanol from gasoline Some guys want to be able to see the fuel in their lines and the automotive hoses don't allow that. =C2-Personally I agree with you. Subject: Barefoot on the Brakes
    From: "carlisle" <carlisle_99@yahoo.com>
Ever since I saw a friend's picture of him flying a Bell 47 helicopter, shot up through the glass bubble, with his bare toes wrapped around the anti-torque pedals, I've wanted to fly my Kitfox that way. Well, I did it today and learned a lesson. No matter how conscious you think you are of keeping your toes off the brakes during landing, they're not. So all that weaving around that I do, especially when landing on pavement (and a couple of ground loops) now makes more sense to me. I think I should adjust the brake pedals (standard Matco on my Model II) so that they are well clear of my toes unless I make a concerted effort 'enpointe' to actuate them. Anyone have any magic tricks? Chris Model II, 582 Sioux Falls, SD Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=304626#304626
