Best ad I have ever seen for an aircraft for sale Travis ! That is a lot of
info! Quite an aircraft. Now, when you sell it' I will have the only Kitfox
in the area. It will be a lonely existence!
Let me know what you buy.

I also have a simple system for holding the door slightly open. It involves
a nylon rope. Of course it's a bitch to untie when I want to get out.

Thanks Dick!
No need to feel alone... Even after the Vixen sells, it will NEVER be very far
from our hearts. During the past 4 years, the Vixen has been an absolute BLAST!
Thanks for the Kudos on the ad. I wanted to provide as much information as
possible. If I were looking to buy...it would answer almost any question I
could think of.
Strange thing... [Question] would you believe I received an email last evening
from a man complaining that the "ad details" were just too long! OK...just read
the first and last sentence and look at the pictures.

Travis,
You have a beautiful, well built KF5. I had the privilege of seeing it up close
when you stopped off at ANB enroute to your weekend campsite.
I'm really surprised that it's being offered at that price.

Thanks Tommy!
The Kudos are appreciated! About the price... I'll be more than happy to take
and extra 10k over what I'm asking! [Shocked] ...at any price, it is going to
make someone a wonderful plane. If the person that buys it only has 1/2 as much
fun in it as we have...they will still be smiling and giggling every time
they fly it.
Hope the luggage sack is working out for you in your plane!
Thanks again! :D

Subject: | LED Nav/Strobe Lighting System Question |
I will be building an S7 SS (the kit is on order). Since I will be
attending AirVenture next week, I thought I'd try to purchase a nav/strobe
lighting system while I'm there, because sometimes the vendors offer show
specials and free shipping. I have been looking online at both the AeroLED
and the AveoFlash LSA systems. It appears that the AveoFlash system has
been further improved since their original system came out. It appears to
be slightly lower in weight, and if I am reading the technical information
correctly, it may use slightly less amperage than the AeroLED system. Also,
it is about $155 cheaper than the AeroLED system. Does anyone have any
current experience with both systems? Is there any good reason not to
consider the AveoFlash system over the AeroLED system? I'd appreciate any
guidance you can offer.
Thanks,

Also suggest you upgrade the MATCO tailwheel with grease inserts and get the 25degree
wheel lock release parts. Mkes the KF fly like a real airplane.

First I have the Aeroled system and it seems to work well, as for the answer you
didn't ask for I would wait on this purchase. Unless you are a speed builder
there will likely be another Oshkosh (or 2 or more) before you are done and there
may well be continued development in these technologies. In general don't
buy the techy bits until you need them.
I know, 2 cents you didn't ask for.

I just installed the Whelen Microburst III lights and I think they will be
just the "cat's meow." I bought them at Sun'nFun for $359, normally $399.
Take a look at them. I'll be there in HBC if you'd like to see them. Lo
ok for "Columbine" N16KC.

Subject: | Re: Propeller Best for Kitfox IV Classic |
Ok I have (warp drive 2 blade square TIP prop on now 13 degrees pitch) static of
5200 RPM's and it seems to be producing power. The climb was good 900' MIN @
60 mph 1/2 load fuel air density 2900'(temp 91) and just me in it did feel OK.
cruise is still 105 @ 5100 so it might need to come back to 12.8 I did feel
a little more vibration than the 3 blade had.The tracking is true only off a
hair. am I in the ball park till my 3 blade comes back in 2 weeks? It is harder
to slow down than the 3 blade but it seems to be able to fly slower than the
3 and the less weight is slower with out chatter of the gear box (1800 RPM'S).
I am going to a longer run way tomorrow after work and see how it feels on something
longer than 1000' with 60' trees at each end. thanks for any suggestions.
