Considering the rate of advancement of technology is close to double every
six months I think your 2 cents were well spent.

First I have the Aeroled system and it seems to work well, as for the answer
you didn't ask for I would wait on this purchase. Unless you are a speed
builder there will likely be another Oshkosh (or 2 or more) before you are
done and there may well be continued development in these technologies. In
general don't buy the techy bits until you need them.
I know, 2 cents you didn't ask for.

Dave, There is an LED supplier in Illinois called Third Party Designs. I
don't have any experience with the product, but it is another alternative.
The best advice you are going to get is the advice that told you to wait
till you need the part before you buy, especially LED's. But it is good
advice for most items. Not only will technology advance, you will see a
better alternative many times. I've even pulled a part off to upgrade after
installing it before ever using it. Lowell fitt's bush gear is an example. I
guess you couldn't buy Kitfox bush gear when I installed the stock landing
gear anyway.
