Thanks Lynn,
With that many around I'm not sure how I missed them, were they all still
there on Friday? I did see the 3 at the Kitfox Booth including the Radial,
and you are correct, it was an absolutely gorgeous bird as were the others
on display there by John and Debra.

It generally works best to bleed/fill from the bottom up. I use a pump oil can
with a 6" vinyl hose push it on the pump oil can slip over the wheel brake bleeder
and pump fluid in till no air comes out of the master cylinder, air bubble
move up a lot easier then trying to force them down. You have to remove the
screw from the master.

Sorry I missed you Lloyd. Mine was the yellow IV (with peeling flapperons) at
the UL field. I was thinking of putting my cell # on the prop tag, I probably
should have...
Though it can be a challenge to land on, I would encourage more of our fraternity
to fly in to the UL field. There is lots of fun to be had down there and easy
access. Plus you can go flying during the week...

I was looking at your engine installation last week ay Oshkosh.- You have
two (I think yellow or orange) items-on each side of the engine that sta
tes something like "high voltage".- I don't have this on my 2200 so-I s
uppose this is an add on.- What is it, an electronic ignition?- Whateve
r it is I'm sure it helped you win your class in the race.

fwiw
the ''screw'' in the cylinder is a #10. i took a #10 and drilled a hole
thru it and worked over one end so a hose would fit over it and not leak.
now i can pump as much fluid into the cylinder as it takes to remove air and
the extra neatly goes into a can.
also, a 10-20 ml. syringe with an 18ga. needle slips into the cylinder
after the job is done and takes the level of fluid down as much as is needed
so it doesn't overflow.

Hi Bob, I think I may have missed your question were you asking about getting air
into the tires with the Matco wheels if so yes it chan be fun when i replaced
my tires I got the shortest valve stems available and found the the rubber
one are best as they can be be flexed some also replaced the standard an nut with
a small an nut to give more space.
