Mal, I just ran onto this email, What hardware do you need. I have
mass balance weights, but might be able to fabricate some other parts if
you still need them.

I was parked next to a model 5 in row 307, and Stan Sprecht and another
'fox were 2-3 rows behind me, and Pete Christenson was a row in front of
me. This was the area where most all of the Kitfoxes camp every year.
Then there was Rex Phelps and another 'fox from Michigan (can't recall
his name) in their usual spot right next to the Homebuilders
Headquarters, and of course the absolutely gorgeous new
Rotec-radial-powered Super Sport flown to the show by Debra and John,
and two others as I recall. I'm sure I missed a few. Oh, yeah, and a
Kitfox on floats near the Kitfox display.

controlled by the main jets. Your corrections to the jet needles would affect
EGTs at mid-range RPMs. You might need the next richer main jets to get those
numbers down.

I have the Arctic Sparrow in flight adjustable needles in my plane. The needles
definitely will control the 5800 to 6000 RPM range for EGT temps. With the
IVO 72" 3 blade set for 6500 RPM straight and level flight and 165 main jets at
sea level I get EGT's around 1100 to 1120. When I pull the power back to 5800
for cruise I can tweak the EGT's up or down a couple hundred degrees with the
needles. One turn is about the same as moving the clip one notch and will
give about a 50 degree difference in EGT and about a .2 to .3 GPH fuel burn change.
What main jets are you running, and what are your RPM and EGT at WOT straight and
level?

Lynn, thanks for the chance to crawl around in your plane looking at the TBI installation.
Do you install a new throttle cable with the TBI and if so what part
# did you use?
You may have noted that my plane got a Bronze Lindy for Champion Home Built.
