Sure is smooth on runup and love that easy ground adjusting method. Weather won't allow inflight t est yet though. The supplied 8mm mounting bolts work but are a little long for my taste. On ce properly torqued, the threaded end comes within a few mm of touching the 'C' gearbox housing. Also, I'd feel better if they were drilled and I coul d safety wire them too. So the question is, can one get shorter 8mm AN quality bolts with the heads drilled? Should I just use drilled AN5 bolts instead? Or, should I just ad d some washers on the face of the prop hub and not worry about safety wirin g? ANY thing will be > appreciated, Thanks Jerry, I run up to 180 on takeoff if the ground is above 90F. S&L I rarely go over 160 no matter how hot it gets. I'd check the thermostat- I've had several fail, sometimes they even break in half. Check the vent in the water pump to make sure you don't have an air bubble. Make sure none of your water lines loop over such that they can trap a bubble. -- *_Guy Buchanan_* Scoutmaster -- Troop 680 760.809.6145 scoutmaster@troop680.org www.troop680.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message kitfox-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Kitfox-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/kitfox-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/kitfox-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
