Many thanks to those who bought items from my "Many Kitfox related items for sale"
list. I still have the cabin cover, seat booster pads and a couple of smaller
items.
Please visit www.jrfjrf.blogspot.com to see photos and info.
Thanks,
Jim

I have often thought about putting a lipo in my Avid. The problem is I use them
exclusively in my electric RC planes and have had several good fires while charging
them. There is new technology with a higher energy density than a lipo
and they are not sposed to burst into flames if over charged or if charged at
to high of a rate. I have not been able to convince myself that my a$$ and
my plane are worth the gamble yet..

Subject: | 582 to death valley |
I live in Pahrump, NV, not too far from Death Valley. I haven't flown over there
yet because I am not sure if the altitude change will be a problem. Pahrump
is about 2700 feet, the Furnace Creek airport is 200 feet below sea level.
My 582 is set up nicely for Pahrump. EGT about 1150 full throttle and 1200 mid
range. No altitude compensation. At minus 200 feet it will be running lean. Is
this something I should worry about or no big deal?
