You then added the arms instead of subtracting them. That makes your balance 5028 + (-2(675)inlb)/ 632lb = 5.9in Or 5028 - 1350 = 3678inlb/632lb = 5.8in The cell D10 should read "B10*-C10" and Cell D11 should read "B11*-C11" I've attached a correction to the sheet. That was posted on this list a couple of years back. It started out of a thread about fabric damage possibly from bears. It started with a way to discourage bears and ended with the loss of the aircraft and the cabin. It was one of those tales that although quite tragic (if true, I think it was supposed to be true) just kept you in stitches the whole way through. If anyone can find and repost that story I would be quite grateful, I would love to read it again. Dave G. In fact I did try that a few weeks ago, and what I got was bear damaged airplanes. Very impressive, sad and not actually what I wished to see. What I wanted specifically was to read the story that had been posted on this list. Now I suppose I could wade through the over 16 million results, trusting that if it were there it would be in the first couple hundred thousand or so. Or I could post here hoping the original author is still among us and hasn't been discouraged by suggestions to look elsewhere for information. I have my own opinions about which is most likely to turn up one obscure story that was only peripherally concerned with bears damaging planes, but thanks for all your help! Dave G. I do Guy, thanks. I could not find it either, nor with Google although it may well be in that pile somewhere. I'm fairly certain this list was the source, I'll wait and see if someone can point me to it.
