I have flown it about 20 hours or so. I am an old 2 stroke dirtbike racer and am very comfortable with 2 stroke engines. Bought the engine used FWF with a C box with 100 hours on everything. It was pulled from a kitfox for a larger engine install. The engine had sat for a year before I bought it, and another year and a half before I installed it and fired it up. I have a Warp Drive ground adjustable prop that came with the engine. It is rated at 65 HP. Don't forget this thread started with questions about a 100 HP engine. I raced skidoo so I und erstand the tweaking a 2 strokes too .... that's easy but the life of a av iation engine is totally different. Totally. One is a highly tweaked sprin ter vs cruising at 70% for long periods. If you go to youtube and search. Kitfox short field take off and see a tan model 2 that all stock w a 582 bluehead .... Rotax Rick sells them on Barnstormers. From his ads he appears to be experienced in providing re built Rotax engines. I thought the 670, if setup properly, might be the wa y to go for added power.
